Ngunnawal use: Boiled leaves make a slightly sweet tea. Also used as a mouthwash for ulcers & to treat chest infections. Used as a seasonal indicator — when it flowers fat fish can be caught. Flowers can be used to make dye. With treatment the stems can be used to make rope and string. Flowers were eaten to treat liver and kidney complaints.
